Vacation Movie Review (No Spoilers)

Vacation is now in theaters and it is being released the same day as the original National Lampoon's Vacation was released July 29. While watching Vacation with Ed Helms and Christina Applegate, you will start laughing three minutes into the film. There are many homage moments to the original classic National Lampoon's Vacation.

It has been 32 years since the original Griswold family went on a family vacation, and now Rusty (Son of Clark & Ellen Griswold) has a family of his own. Rusty decides to take his family on a road trip, and that is all I will say about the storyline, because I do not want to spoil anything.

Throughout the film everyone in the audience was laughing, by the end of the film my cheeks were hurting from laughing so much. The film is funny and entertaining, but as a lover of the original National Lampoon's Vacation I do find the original to be my favorite. In my eyes there is no way a comparison but as Rusty Griswold stated "This vacation will stand on it's own". Will you be watching Vacation? If you’ve seen it, what were your thoughts about it?
