MAYBELLINE SuperStay Better Skin Foundation*
/I was very excited to receive the Super Stay Better Skin foundation from Maybelline, to try out from Influenster during these very hot days in Southern California. It is difficult for me to find a foundation that I like during the summer months, because since it can get very, very hot my skin will break out by wearing foundation. During the summer months i wear a water based foundation from Chanel.
But by using this foundation that is oil free, I found that I really liked to use it and didn’t miss the Chanel foundation as much as i thought I would. I was skeptical at first when they said that it could help my skin, because of its antioxidant power of Actyl-C, a more durable form of vitamin C.
I really do feel like my skin does look a lot better, I didn’t have any breakouts before but I did receive a lot of compliments on my skin. Specifically questions on my skin care routine, and I really hadn’t changed anything in my routine other than my foundation.
I received classic ivory and I did not think it would match my skin tone, because this summer I got quite tan and had previously been wearing a darker foundation than I normally wear. But once I had it on and had blush and a bit of bronzer, it was as perfect! It is a medium coverage foundation but it can be built up to get better coverage if you’d like.
The better skin challenge went by so fast and I really do feel like it helped my skin, I was telling my sister that I was going to do a blog post about the foundation and she said “In all honesty would you purchase it again, and recommend it for me to use?” and I would honestly say, yes I would recommend it for her to use and see how she likes it. Overall I would purchase it with my own money, and recommend trying it out to see if you also like it like I did. What’s your favorite foundation to use during summer?
